Private Seminars, Lectures, And Brownbag Luncheons:
American Security Programs sends expert lecturers to offices to deliver presentations about security topics that are of interest to our clients. Our presentations are tailored to the specialized needs of our customers' employees, managers, and executives. Topics may include, but are not limited to, basic principles of workplace security, business travel security, security industry best practices, threats and hazards, workplace violence, sexual harassment, mailroom security, emergency response protocols, IT security, disaster recovery, coop planning, premises liability, and security program management.

Security Licensing:
American Security Programs offers the training that is mandatory for individuals who aspire to work as armed and/or unarmed guards. Our classes comply with local, state, federal, and agency-specific requirements. Our classes are offered regularly through our local offices and training centers. Our classes can also be delivered by our mobile training unit, which can be deployed anywhere within the United States or overseas to accommodate specific contract requirements.

Core Skill Certifications:
American Security Programs delivers professional instruction and skill-building classes pertaining to a variety of specialized proficiencies, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and the use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs).  We can also provide instruction in self defense and rescue tactics. In addition, we can provide certifications pertaining to a wide variety of systems and devices, including batons, pepper spray, handcuffs, night scopes, alarm systems, metal detectors and x-ray machines.

Professional Certifications:
American Security Programs offers courses to individuals who wish to establish or renew their professional credentials. We offer all of the classes that are mandatory to work as private investigators and executive protection agents. We can also offer Retired Law Enforcement Safety Act training (HR-218).

Informational Sessions:
We routinely offer "special topics" courses that address intriguing aspects of security. Recently, these classes have covered murder investigations, mob activities, online investigations, surveillance practices, and investigative photography. Other courses have included personal travel safety, domestic security, and retail security.
